Exclusive: Rihanna Hosts Rave-Themed Baby Shower

HipHollywood can confirm a Rihanna baby-shower has happened.

The global superstar didn’t let boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s recent arrest rain on her baby shower plans.

Despite reports that the singer canceled her shower because of Rocky’s legal troubles, HH can confirm that the singer and rap star did indeed celebrate their first child with an over-the-top soiree.

The celebration went down Friday night at studio in Hollywood.

Rih and Rocky wanted to keep the bash super intimate and private. Guests were not allowed to film, or photograph.

We’re told it was beautifully curated and guests were asked to wear their best and brightest neon colored outfits for the rave-themed bash.

During her pregnancy, the 34-year-old has opted for high fashion looks over traditional maternity clothes … so the theme was no surprise.

A host of family and friends were in attendance including many of her family from Barbados who came in town for the event.

One minor detail that managed to hit the internet was the party favors that guests received as a keepsake. Rihanna and Rocky opted for a Tee shirt that celebrated their latest collaboration.

The shirt features the couple as children with the words “Rih and Rocky Rave Shower” on the front. On the back, the shirt read, “I Went To Rih & Rocky’s Rave Shower And All I Got Was This Amazing Shirt.”

Rihanna is officially in her third trimester. She has not revealed her due date or the sex of the baby.
