Fans Concerned About Nick Cannon After He Posts Cryptic Tweets

Nick Cannon has released a new diss track, “The Invitation,” as a direct response to Eminem’s verse on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above” that came after Cannon, 39, and his ex-wife Mariah Carey, 49.

Cannon’s track — which also features Suge Knight calling out Eminem, 47, in a line apparently recorded from prison — takes aim at Em’s notorious family life with a verse that compares him to Drake.

“Took a page out of Drake book, this might get a Grammy/ We going back to back until you respond on the family/ My baby mama killed you off a decade ago/ You still crying about it bitch, now who really the hoe,” Cannon adds, a line presumably about Mariah Carey’s song “Obsessed,” which she recorded as a response to Eminem’s claims of a relationship with her.

Unfortunately the track was not met with support from fans. As soon as word dropped, Twitter exploded into unanimous laughter.

The Detroit icon’s verse on “Lord Above” was ostensibly a response to Cannon’s September appearance on rapper T.I.’s podcast “ExpediTIously” where Cannon claimed he almost flew to Detroit to confront Eminem over the 2009 song “The Warning,” itself a response to “Obsessed.”
