Joycelyn Savage wants the world to know she is still R. Kelly’s girlfriend and any claims made about her relationship on that Patreon account are all false.
In a video (much like the one she made in 2017), Joycelyn confirmed she did NOT create the Patreon account, she is NOT being held against her will, she’s NOT being abused, and she’ll never turn on her man, R. Kelly.
“He does not deserve this,” she said as she read a prepared statement from her cellphone. “I am not going to be part of the assignation of R. Kelly’s name, his music career or his character. How will we ever be able to get a fair trial anywhere in the world with all these lies that are being told on him? Please free him and let him come home in peace. I promise you he is not the person you guys think he is. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and Azriel [Clary].”
The 23-year-old then stopped reading the “script” from her phone and said she and the Grammy Award winning singer have a strong bond and she would never do anything like this to him.
“It’s just really, really, really sad that someone would pretend to be me and put it out in the world and say that I am a victim, that I am brainwashed, that I’m a sex slave. Lord have mercy, it doesn’t get worser [her words] than that.”
Joycelyn confirmed she and Azriel Clary are still supporting him at his court dates and still love him.
Last week we reported that Savage posted graphic details about her relationship with Kelly on the crowd funding site and also teased the posts on her Instagram. Interestingly a few days later Patreon released a statement saying they were shutting down the alleged Joycelyn account after it couldn’t authenticate the owner’s identity. Whats more her parents couldn’t confirm that it was Savage posting the messages and said they still hadn’t spoken to her.
Meanwhile Kelly is still behind bars in Chicago and just was hit with a another charge for bribery related to his marriage to singer Aaliyah.
