Bye, Bye, Bye: Michael Strahan Confused Seahawks New Edition Touch Down Dance For Nsync Tribute

This is why black history month is so important folks!

On Monday night, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore snatched the soul out of the Minnesota Vikings’ chest with a 60-yard touchdown at the end of the third quarter. And instead of merely spiking the ball or hitting the Woah, he (and a few other players) dug deep into their melanin and blessed us all with THIS.

Yes, that’s the iconic routine from New Edition’s “If It Isn’t Love” music video.

Even if you weren’t old enough to see the original visuals on BET’s Video Soul, you were introduced to the legendary dance moves and song thanks to the three day TV extravaganza –The New Edition Story on BET.

Hence why we are so upset with Michael Strahan. The former NFL star foolishly said while hosting Good Morning America Tuesday morning that the team was doing an NSYNC tribute.

Now we understand white folks making this type of mistake, but one of our own? Thankfully Twitter gathered Strahan by his gap and edges.

Now back to this beautiful black-ass moment that will be etched in our memories until the end of time. Moore told the NFL Network they loved New Edition and had been practicing the moves for a while.  “We love old school, we love just having fun, and New Edition was the plan tonight so that’s why we had to do it.”
