The Good, The Bad & The WTF Fashions From the 2019 Soul Awards

The 2019 Soul Train Awards were definitely lit! All of your favorites in music (past and present) turned out in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Orleans Hotel and brought their A game to stage.
Unfortunately folks didn’t do the same to the red carpet. Here’s a look at the ensembles that were hot and the ones that had us bothered and screaming the WTH! Lets start with the hot!
June Ambrose
Ambrose was white hot in this Micheal Costello number and Judith Leiber boombox bag.
MJ Rodriguez
The Pose star also showed off her toned gams in this black sequined gown
Letoya Luckett
The new mom gave us legs and lace in this suit by House of Chapple.
Skai Jackson
The Disney star was pretty in pink in this floral and leathered textured look.
Debra Cox
Cox was giving us 70s Soul Train vibes in this red and gold jumpsuit.
Sinqua Walls
Walls who played Don Cornelius on the BET series Soul Train was dapper as ever in this floral suit.
HER
The singer gave us bohemian vibes in this flowing Dsquared dress and Guiseppe Zanotti heels.
Issa Rae
The HBO actress showed some skin in this soft yellow gown.
Tank
The R&B general came through rocking a bright yellow Balenciaga sweater and Louboutin studded boots.
Bothered
As for the bothered there were so many wouldn’t keep up. Wale’s look was a travesty … as was Luke James in those purple velvet pants and hoodie. Chanelle Graham and KJ Smith had us screaming WTH. Layton Greene, who we thought was Jordyn Woods for a hot second, didn’t know what event she was going to. And Tisha Campbell was a hot mess from head to toe.
