HipHollywood sat down with Sterling K. Brown to talk about playing the now iconic TV dad, and playing a father in the new film “Waves” and he dished on how his inspiration for the roles.
Believe it or not, it wasn’t his real life father but more so his mother who was a strong figure in his life growing up.
“I didn’t raise no damn fool,” said Brown recalling one of his mother’s popular sayings that has guided him through his life and career.
