Hold on to your wigs! The Real Housewives of Atlanta show open and taglines have just dropped and they are full shade and sass.
On Sunday November 4 the show came back for season 12, but without a normal show open. Instead audiences got a recap of what the ladies have been up to the last 6 months before they began to reunite with one another.
One big reveal was the return of Kenya Moore who was absent from season 11. We reported months ago that she would be returning after getting married and having a baby, and it looks like she’s also got a peach per the cast photo.
Now ahead of episode 2 Bravo has dropped their cast taglines and opening video. Porsha Williams posted the clip on her Instagram page with the caption: “TAGLINES Fresh off the press 📬 ((Who’s is your favorite ?! )) My fav taglines Kandi’s & Nene💸 and mine cracks me up”
We have to say her tagline might be our favorite. “This phoenix has risen. And I’m saying: Bye, ashes!” she says. The tagline, of course, pays homage to Porsha’s unforgettable throwback one-liner, in which she told her then-enemy Kenya Moore, “Bye, ashy!” She also told admitted to fans Bravo gave her that tagline she didn’t come up with it herself but it was perfect.
Meanwhile Moore’s is a spin on one of her famous lines from season 5. “I was gone with the wind, but now I’m back and twice as fabulous,” she says in the season 12 opener sans the twirl.
Check out the other Atlanta ladies serving sassiness and shade in the video below. Make sure to tune in to The Real Housewives of Atlanta every Sunday at 8/7c only on Bravo.
