La La Anthony’s reality show about video vixens and strippers has hit a bump in the road. According to the Power actress she decided to put the show on hold to re-work the concept.
“It’s not happening right now,” said Anthony. “We are just trying to figure out another way to approach it. It was about entrepreneurship and taking these Instagram famous girls and allowing them to reach their dreams. It’s something that I’m still interested in, just trying to figure out how to re-work it.”
HipHollywood was one of the first to tell you about the reality show when shooting first began at Sapphire Strip Club back in 2017. Timbaland was also named as an executive producer of the series tentatively titled Goal Diggers, following women who are trying to form businesses and become entrepreneurs.
Instagram model Bernice Burgos was slated to take part in the show, but told us she changed her mind because of the creative direction.
“I’m the type of person that I want the world to know who I am but at the right time. I’m not in a rush,” she explained.
When asked if she would do her own show instead she told us as long as it was focused on her. “It’s gotta be about me, and it’s gotta be classy and about who I am, not somebody that’s not me.”
Burgos got her start modeling in music videos nearly a decade ago and was romantically linked to rap stars Drake and T.I. while he and wife Tiny were separated. She has since gained a huge following on Instagram and started her own sleepwear line.
Burgos’ besties Lani Blair and Grace Ko were also slated to appear on La La’s show. No word on if they too have jumped ship, but we’ll keep you posted on when and if she re-tools the concept.
In the meantime would you watch a show all about Burgos? Let us know in the comments below.
