Good news for actor Kevin Hart. The comedian is out of the hospital and he’s now at a live-in rehab facility doing intense physical therapy to recover from his car crash injuries and surgery.

Sources say Kevin is “happy” to get out of the hospital and is “grateful to be alive.” We’re told he’s also been maintaining a positive attitude since being admitted 10 days ago.
No surprise here, Hart wants to go home “as soon as possible,” so he can start outpatient treatment. Hart however could be looking at a long road to recovery.According to Us Weekly, “It’s going to take him many months to recover,” and “it’s going to be extremely long and grueling.”

Hart reportedly wants his inner circle to “downplay the seriousness of his injuries,” as to not interfere with his various upcoming projects. We know Hart stays on his grind and has numerous projects in development including two films with director Tim Story (Think Like A Man, Fantastic Four).

Hart was hospitalized and underwent back surgery on September 2 after his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda veered off Mulholland Highway, crashed into a wooden fence, rolled and landed in a ditch the previous night. The 40-year-old was the passenger while his friend, actor Jared S. Black was behind the wheel. The police report notes that Black wasn’t under the influence at the time of the crash.
