Wale has professed his love for Black women on more than one occasion. At this point, it’s practically a part of his brand. But, could the rapper be ready to dip his toe in the pools of the fairer persuasion?
Wale stopped by HipHollywood to chat about his song “BGM” — it’s an ode to the sista’s with magic in their melanin. And, it’s a banger.
The track made us think about the current conversations exploring complexions and preferences in the Black community (at the time, Chris Brown was catching heat for his light-skin lyrics). So, of course, we asked Wale about what his preferences entail. While he was a bit coy on if he had a certain hued he favored, he did reveal he’s never dated a white girl. The obvious next question was, but would he?
Wale’s upcoming album, “Wow… That’s Crazy”, is set to be released October 11th. Be sure to cop it!
