Simone Biles seems to opening up about the recent news of her brother, Tevin Biles-Thomas, being arrested in connection with a triple murder in Ohio.

On Thursday, Biles-Thomas was arrested and taken into custody at the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia at 3:30pm. Just a few hours later, at 9:51pm to be exact, the Olympic gold medal winning gymnast tweeted, “Eating my feelings don’t talk to me.”

She hasn’t tweeted anything else since.

According to a statement from Cleveland police, Biles-Thomas has been charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault and perjury. The statement also explains that a shooting took place at a party at 11:30 p.m on Dec. 31, 2018. An “uninvited group” entered the home and “an altercation ensued” between the group and guests. Gunfire broke out and multiple people were shot, three of whom died. Biles-Thomas has been named as the suspect responsible for the shooting.

It’s worth noting, Simone and Tevin, an active duty U.S. Army service member based in Fort Stewart, Georgia, grew up in different homes. Simone was raised primarily in Texas, where she trained in gymnastics, while Tevin grew up in Ohio. The two, along with their two siblings were placed in foster care due to their mother’s, Shannon Biles, addiction.
