Folks Are Losing It Over This New Missy Elliott Music … And Rightfully So!
An icon … legend … innovator, Missy Elliott is all of that and more. But the Supa Dupa Fly rapper hadn’t blessed us with new music in 2017’s single “I’m Better”, nor a new album since 2005’s “The Cookbook.” We’ve missed Missy and thankfully she noticed.
Elliott decided to go ahead and throw it back for those who maybe had forgotten (or gasp, never knew) of her effortless excellence. The trailblazing MC drop the video for her new single “#ThrowItBack” on Thursday night. It was instantly met with rave reviews.
Oh, but she didn’t stop there. Also at midnight, Misdemeanor drop what she calls “a collection of new songs” aptly title “Iconology” (check it out HERE). In describing the new music Missy tweeted, “Let’s #ThrowItBack to a time when music just felt good and made us want to dance!” That’s exactly what she’s done and folks are thrilled…
