“I’m not a businessman; I’m a business, man!” Jay Z uttered these lyrics over a decade ago in the “Diamonds from Sierra Leone” (remix), but today they ring Truer than ever. The Jigga Man has been crowned the first ever hip hop artist to become a billionaire.

We all known Jay Z has been on his hustle since the beginning; from the block to the corner office, Jay acumen for securing the bag has never been in question. However, Forbes is now making it official:

“…it’s clear that Jay-Z has accumulated a fortune that conservatively totals $1 billion, making him one of only a handful of entertainers to become a billionaire—and the first hip-hop artist to do so. Jay-Z’s steadily growing kingdom is expansive, encompassing liquor, art, real estate (homes in Los Angeles, the Hamptons, Tribeca) and stakes in companies like Uber.”

So, what exactly does Mr. Carter’s billionaire financial portfolio look like? Well, here’s the breakdown:

Armand de Brignac (those $300 gold bottles of the “Ace of Spades” champagne): $310 million

Cash & Investments (included a sizable stake in Uber): $220 million

D’Ussé (a joint venture with beverage giant Bacardi): $100 million

Tidal (streaming service) $100 million

Roc Nation (wide-ranging entertainment company/joint venture with concert giant Live Nation): $75 million

Music Catalog: $75 million

Art Collection (Picasso, Basquiat, etc.): $70 million
