Update!!! The music video is here and it is fire! Check out Serayah sizzle, slay and serve in the music video for her single “Love It”. And, in case you missed it, check out our exclusive behind-the-scences interview from the set, below!
Fans may know her as Empire‘s leading female artist Tiana Brown, but actress Serayah let us know that there is more to her than what we see on TV. HipHollywood got exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the making of her latest music video, ‘Love It.’
The song, which definitely has the potential of being a Summer ’19 banger, channels the ups and the downs of living in the City of Angels.
A Cali native herself, Serayah shares that even though it’s a track for the ladies, all too often folks living in Los Angeles love to “fake it ’til they make it.”
“Sometimes when it’s with music and things, I feel like people automatically be like I have to fake it to make it. I have to make it look like something before it really is,” the singer told HH.
“So that’s basically what the song is about, just living in LA and being in Hollywood all the time. People pull up to the club in their Rolls Royce and their Bentleys and things like that but you don’t know that they’re rented.”
Unfortunately, we definitely don’t see any lies there…
And although the hit FOX series will soon be coming to an end, Serayah has a lot more hidden in her musical vault as she gears up to drop her first album.
“I’m going to be dropping my first ever project… music project. It’s more like an album, it was going to be an EP but it’s looking like more of an album, so I want to drop that this Summer.”
Hopefully, we get to see Seyarah on the big screen again but until then don’t forget to download her new single ‘Love It’ which will be available this June.
