Y’all have been asking for years and finally Ciara is giving you what you want — the detailed prayer she prayed in order to score her NFL star Russell Wilson.
In an interview with Angie Martinez, promoting her new album “Beauty Marks”, the songstress opened up about how she came out of her disastrous relationship with rapper Future and into the arms of Prince Russ. “I prayed many times … I was very specific … I started understanding the power of loving myself, firstly.” Ci Ci continued, “If I love myself first, right, then I believe I can get the love I deserve — I’ll be loved the way I deserve and I will also be clear enough to love the way I’m supposed to love as well.”
But Ciara’s only motivation wasn’t herself, it was her young son (whom she shares with ex Future) who she affectionately calls Juicy Man. “When it’s just me and him, I’m very specific because it’s not only about me, but it’s also about him now, so I can’t play around, there’s no more experimenting.”
And although Ciara says she thought she was going to single for four years after breaking off her engagement with Future, God had different plans when she put this prayer list into the atmosphere:
1. God-fearing man
3. Wisdom to learn from current experiences
4. A man who loves kids
5. A man that’s worldly; someone to edify her world
6. To “Level Up”
7. She also prayed for what she needed.
That’s it, now y’all have the secret! Also, Ciara’s new album “Beauty Mark” is out now.
