Beyonce Is About To Take Over Coachella Weekend Again!

Beyonce is about to take us back to school … or Homecoming. In 2018 she shut down Coachella with an epic set that had folks renaming the entire weekend BeyChella.

Now she’s poised to do it again. The mother of three just announced that she is dropping HOMECOMING: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ on Netflix on April 17 and you know it’s about to be a full on event.

Per Netflix:

Homecoming presents an intimate look at Beyoncé’s historic 2018 Coachella performance that paid homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities. Interspersed with candid footage and interviews detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision, Homecoming traces the emotional road from creative concept to cultural movement.

To be clear April 17th is a Wednesday just a day before folks start descending upon Coachella Valley for weekend 2. Nevertheless we predict social media will be buzzing about it all weekend long.

If you recall the internet was in shambles for days following Bey’s jaw-dropping headlining performance. For weeks people were recreating everything from her looks to her dance break to O.T. Genasis’ “Everybody Mad.”

Now fans get every scene, every step by step move, plus a glimpse at twins Rumi and Sir. We’re getting chills just talking about it.

Meanwhile Bey’s sister Solange has cancelled her Coachella set. According to TMZ multiple members of Solo’s band got sick and she has been scrambling to replace them.

Apparently she tried out several different musicians, but it just didn’t work and she decided to just bow out.
