Chicago Police rushed to R. Kelly‘s Trump Tower condo Tuesday evening in fear that his girlfriends were attempting to carry out a “suicide pact.” It later proved to be a false alarm.

In a police radio call shared on, a dispatcher, who received an anonymous call, can be heard telling officers that Kelly’s girlfriend Azriel Clary and “four other women, who are victims of R. Kelly are planning to carry out a suicide pact at one of the condos at Trump Tower.”

The anonymous caller, however, did not specify when the alleged suicide would take place or give a specific unit number.

According to Kelly’s publicist and crisis manager police arrived on the scene to find that all was well with the singer. He also said girlfriends Clary and Jocelyn Savage were the only women in the home and were also fine.

“First of all Mr. Kelly is in great health,” Darrell Johnson told reporters outside Kelly’s home. “Police came up to the door a whole bunch of them, knocked on the door, we were in a meeting … all was well and the girls were there too, the two girls that live there.”

Meanwhile Clary’s parents claim their estranged daughter has made a suicide attempt in the past — and we’re fearful she could do it again.

Angelo and Alice Clary sat down with Gayle King for CBS This Morning. When asked how they think this saga will play out, Alice says he has heard of a “suicide pact” between Kelly and his women and they are fearful Azriel would see it through because of her past.

“Our daughter had experience with trying to do it,” Angelo said. “See, everybody else can talk it. But it’s nothing like — to see a father coming in the house and seeing your daughter submerged in water. And you have to pick her up and try to get her to the hospital. See, I’ve been through that. So while everybody else may take this lightly… it’s real life for us.”
