“Tryna turn my baby mama to my fiancée” — He rapped it and it came true, plus more. Chance is finally a married man!
The rapper and his longtime love, Kirsten Corley, wed on Saturday at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California. Chance stunted in a white and black tux while Corley shut it down in the Alma gown by Galia Lahav.
Of course, Chance and Kirsten’s adorable 3 1/2 year-old daughter Kensli was there to celebrate her parents getting hitched, along with a few other notable guest. Kanye West, wifey Kim Kardashian, Dave Chappelle and Kirk Franklin were also in attendance to shower the couple with love.
However, although the celebratory occasion looked joyful, the real moment of nuptial bliss happened months ago. According to the Chicago Tribune, the hip-hop star and his boo said “I do” in a civil ceremony by judge Scott McKenna on December 27, 2018 in Chicago.
According to People, here’s the timeline of their relationship:
“Chance and Corley began dating in 2013. After welcoming their daughter Kensli in 2015, the pair split in 2016 before reconciling the next year. Then Chance popped the question on July 4, 2018 at a family barbecue in their native Chicago; he confirmed the engagement the same day as the proposal, simply tweeting: ‘She said yes.'”
Congrats to the happy couple and thanks for the pics lil Chano!
