2018 has been good to Tami Roman, and 2019 may be even better. The Basketball Wives vet is booked, blessed and busy … and she may even being adding “baby” to that list!
Roman, and her boo Reggie, stopped by HipHollywood for a chat (Reg stayed off camera) and we delved into all things Tami. That means we talked about all the projects she has coming up, including her new BET drama “The Family Business”, her possible return to BBW and her blossoming “Bonnet Chronicles” comedy career. But, when talked turned to if a future family with her longtime love was in the cards, Roman revealed surprising news.
The couple has had to face the hurt of multiple miscarriages over recent years, but now their outlook is different. “He’s (Reggie) understanding that maybe I shouldn’t put my body through that. So, we’ve crossed that hurdle of ‘babe, maybe not you,’ and now we’re talking in terms of maybe a surrogate.” That’s right, Tami seems ready to join what we’ve dubbed the “Hollywood Surrogate Club” and was even inspired by Gabrielle Union who recently welcomed her first child, via surrogate, with husband Dwyane Wade. “We did see Gabrielle and D. Wade do that, Kandi (Burruss) and Todd have a surrogate now … so now, we’re looking into that,” Tami continued, “we’re absolutely going to try to make that happened.”
And we’ll be rooting for you guys all the way! Check out the interview below, and look for part-two coming soon!
