An investigation is underway into the sudden death of Kim Porter, model and mother of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ three children.
HipHollywood was on the scene at her Toluca Lake, CA home where she passed after suffering from flu-like symptoms and pneumonia for over a week.
Detective David Peteque told HH that the cause of death is still undetermined and there were no “obvious signs of death” upon examining the deceased.
We were also told that Combs, who was in a relationship with Porter for some 13 years, arrived at the home and was very cooperative. “Mr. Combs was very cooperative and obviously very upset,” he stated. “We had basic questions for him in order for us to conduct the investigation and he was extremely cooperative.”
According to Peteque there were no signs of foul play but the LAPD will keep it as an open investigation until the cause of death is determined.
The mother of four was found in her bed upstairs in the home and was already pronounced dead when detectives arrived.
As previously reported paramedics arrived to the home at 11:38am and found the former model and actress unresponsive.
We’re told none of her children were home when she passed. Porter has a son Quincy from a previous relationship with R&B singer Al B. Sure and three children with Combs, Christian and twins D’Lila and Jesse.
Porter was 47.
