Fans of Married to Medicine have been getting a firsthand look at the breakdown of Dr. G and Quad Webb-Lunceford’s marriage. Now, after explosive arguments and shocking cheating revelations, Quad has filed for divorce, and she told HipHollywood what ultimately made her pull the trigger.
“He started an argument with me on my birthday and I was like, where is this going?, she questioned. “He left to go play golf and I said to myself, you’ve got to get out of here, Quad; this is not good for you … how much more of this are going to take, how much more of this are you going to conceal?”
ICYMI, during the Season 5 reunion Dr. G (real name Greg Lunceford) revealed that a woman he invited up to his hotel room during a weekend with his buddies tried to extort money from him, but nothing happened.
Quad, however, isn’t buying it and told us there’s no hope of the two reconciling.
“It’s no hope [for a reconciliation]. He was cheating in the marriage, profusely, and is already dating a number of women,” she confessed. “If you are going to conduct yourself as a single man then just do the business and get a divorce to be single, and that’s the issue that I am having.”
Since the divorce, Dr G. has gone on the defense claiming the Sister Circle host blindsided him with the divorce papers, and took all his belongings when she moved out.
“This is a person who is trying to cover up his infidelities, so do you think he is going to be truthful?,” she said of her estranged husband. “I was very, very fair. We had a 6-bedroom home; I took three beds, I left three beds, I even left furniture that I purchased … so it’s very hurtful to hear. This is a man that said he loved me but is now trying to paint a very negative picture and a very different picture than what is real, but you will see the pictures on Married to Medicine of what was left in the home.”
And you’ll also see the support her co-stars like Dr. Jackie, who also went through a cheating scandal during last season, provide her when Married to Medicine airs Sunday nights at 8/7c on Bravo.
