We all know the Wayans family stays busy in Hollywood. Since bursting on the scene in the early 90s with their hit show In Living Color, the family has stayed working … and growing.
According to wikipedia the first generation of talented siblings totals 10 all of whom has amassed some measure of success or stardom.
Now a second and third generation of actors and comedians are carving their own path, like Damon Wayans Jr. who has a new series Happy Together on CBS.
HipHollywood hit the set and thought it would be fun to play “Name That Wayans” with Damon Jr. and his co-star Amber Stevens West. On the show the pregnant star plays his wife, so it was only right that we found out how well she knows her on-screen hubby’s family.

Keenan Ivory Wayans
The Primetime Emmy-winning actor, writer, director, and producer created the FOX sketch comedy show In Living Color in 1990 along with brother Damon Wayans. Since he has gone on to produce and star in several films including Im Gonna Get You Sucker and Low Down Dirty Shame.
Wayans who just announced that he would be exiting FOX’s Lethal Weapon after just three seasons has appeared in a string of successful film and television shows, including My Wife And Kids, The Underground, both of which he created, as well as Bamboozled, Major Payne, and Damon, another series he co-created.
One of the funniest women in comedy, Kim is a Hollywood renaissance woman, writing, directing, and starring in a number of her siblings projects. She also co-wrote a series of children’s books, Amy Hodgepodge, with her husband Kevin Knotts.
Marlon currently stars in the NBC sitcom Marlon, which is based on the comedian and actor’s life. Just last year he also wrote, produced and starred, alongside Regina Hall, in Netflix’s new film Naked. He is currently shooting the Netflix film Sextuplets where he will play all six siblings.
Who could forget Shawn starring alongside his brother Marlon in the hilarious hit show The Wayans Bros.? Or his turn as FBI agent Kevin Copeland in White Chicks? Like the rest of his talented family, Shawn has written, directed, produced, and starred in a number of things. Now, he’s hitting the stage and performing stand up at various spots around the country.
Like his aunt, uncles, and cousins, Damien has created his own path in comedy, making his feature directorial debut with 2009’s Dance Flick and also starring and creating the BET show Second Generation Wayans.
Craig has a consulting producer credit on his uncle Marlon’s new show, Marlon, as well as Damon Wayans’ My Wife and Kids. He was also a writer for the 2010 BET Awards and Scary Movie 2.
