Is it us or does it seem like the recent comedy feuds have been getting worse than rap beef lately!? From Katt Williams throwing major shade at Jerrod Carmichael, Lil Rel and Tiffany Haddish to Kevin Hart jumping to call out Katt in honor of defending his sis Tiffany. Even Leslie Jones and Luenell had their two cents to put in.
Well, HipHollywood got a chance to catch up with Hart’s co-star in his upcoming film “Night School” and even though he isn’t a comedian, rapper Fat Joe can definitely share some insight on what all of this beef really means.
” Everybody should get along. I love everybody,” Fat Joe said. “I think we should all support each other. Kev has a point. Katt Williams is one of my favorite comedians in the world but he [Kevin Hart] has a point, like let’s not bring each other down; let’s lift each other up.”
Thankfully like Joe said, there haven’t been any “laugh bys” going on right now so we can atleast rest easy when it comes to any possible violence. The “Night School” actor also had this to say about female comedians:
“This ain’t a gender thing; if you’re funny, you’re funny, that’s it.”
“Night School” also stars Tiffany Haddish, Romany Malco, Yvonne Orji, Bresha Webb, and Megalyn Echikunwoke and it hits theaters today!
