Denzel Washington may be ok with Drake getting his face tattooed on his arm, but his son has another response.

HipHollywood caught up with NFL star turned actor John David Washington about his role in the new film Monsters and Men and also got his opinion about Drizzy putting his pop’s face on his body.

“I have seen, not in person, but it’s his commitment to the arts and crafts,” he laughed.

In an ironic twist of fate, Drake is also a producer on the Reinaldo Marcus Green-directed flick about of a young father who witnesses the police shooting of an unarmed black man.

“It’s Drake, it’s Champagne Papi, he’s so positive, he’s Canadian, there’s a lot of love there so he’s going to help spread the word of the film,” he said.

Monsters and Men, which also stars Anthony Ramos, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Chante Adams, Cara Buono and Nicole Beharie, hits theaters September 28 (NY & LA) and wide October 5.
