Run Me My Money! Tyga Sues Lil Wayne And Birdman For Unpaid Royalties

We can’t say this comes as a surprise…

Tyga’s time with YMCMB was successful, albeit short-lived, but the rapper is now claiming he didn’t see all of his rightfully earned dough … and now he’s suing!

In 2011 Tyga signed with Young Money / Cash Money (YMCMB) and dropped two albums — Careless World: Rise of the Last King in 2012 and Hotel California in 2013. But by 2014 he accused the labels, owned by Birdman and Lil Wayne, of holding his next project “hostage”. That was the beginning of the end.

In 2014 the “Rack City” rapper started dissing YMCMB publicly, took his project and released it independently in 2015, then signed with his girlfriend (at the time) Kylie Jenner’s brother-in-law, Kanye West, over at G.O.O.D Music. in 2016.

T-Raww must of had some down time and decided to count his ducketts — and apparently they’re coming up short by about $1 million dollars. That’s right, in his lawsuit Tyga alleges that YMCMB stiffed him out of “significant sums” to the tune of a milli. According to TMZ, “he goes on in his lawsuit to claim in 2016 both Cash Money and Young Money agreed to pay Tyga all the royalties that he says were owed to him for years, but he didn’t get squat.”

We all know the trouble that Wayne had getting money from Birdman, so we doubt that Tyga will be anymore successful — but good luck!
