Following the French Open’s shady “no catsuit” policy aimed directly at Serena Williams, the tennis phenom took the court during the first round of the U.S. Open on Monday in a tutu — and shut it down!
The custom-designed tutu was created by Louis Vuitton designer Virgil Abloh and Nike. Williams paired the look with NikeCourt Flare trainers and fishnet compression tights.
Williams won her match against Magda Linette, tutu in all, which she said was “easy to play in” and even “aerodynamic.” And the internet loved it just as much as she did…
