And that tea is straight from the horses mouth! But, it’s not what you think.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have been “married” for over 20 years. But, with two decades of lovin’ under their belts they now realize “married” doesn’t properly define their union.
“We don’t even say we’re married anymore. We refer to ourselves as life partners, where you get into that space where you realize you are literally with somebody for the rest of your life,” Smith told Elliott Wilson during a podcast interview for RapRadar.
And, although Will admitted that the years-long rumors of their marriage being on the rocks were often true, he insists they worked through the tough spots and now understand forever means forever.
“There’s no deal breakers. There’s nothing she could do — ever. Nothing that would break our relationship,” he continued. “She has my support till death and it feels so good to get to that space.”
Now THAT’S #BlackLoveGoals!
During the interview with Wilson, Smith also opened up about the viral video we posted from 2012 where he slapped a reporter that tried to kiss him on a red carpet.
After the slap, Smith says Jay Z called him — the story, and his impersonation, are both hilarious!
