Could there be another Cher and Future collaboration on the horizon? The music icon, sure hopes so.
Last September Cher and the hip-hop star teamed up for a Gap campaign and Cher told us during the film junket for Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again she’d love to work with him again.
“I like Future,” she gushed. “He’s handsome, he’s talented and he’s good.”
But he’s not the only one Cher fancies. The 72 year old legend told us she also loves Rihanna (go figure) and also singing alongside Academy Award-winner Andy Garcia.
Cher joined the cast for the sequel that includes Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard, Julie Walters, Christine Baranski, Colin Firth, Lily James and more.
In the film she plays Streep’s mother ( you read that right) while Garcia plays Senor Cien Fuego and let’s just say the two have quite the connection. In one scene they perform the ABBA track “Fernando” and Cher gave Garcia the ultimate seal of approval on his vocals.
“It’s great having someone singing [with you] whose an actor because they act it out too,” she explained. “We were acting out the story of Fernando.”
