We all know Erica Campbell is an open book, but the gospel singer is opening up like never before on her new TV One series We’re The Campbells.
HipHollywood got a sneak peek at an upcoming episode airing on July 17, where Erica makes some shocking revelations.
While working on her new book, Campbell is told by her husband Warryn and book agent that she needs to dig a little deeper. Worried she will disappoint the publishers, Erica also enlists the help of her friend Misty who encourages her to do some soul searching and she finally opens up about some dark difficult times in her life, including a period that she struggled through as a pre-teen and contemplated suicide.
The mother of three also revealed that she suffered a miscarriage as an adult and the devastation that caused.
Campbell and her husband Warryn have opened up in the past about their marital issues after Warryn revealed he had an affair back during an episode of Black Love. Now, the couple delve even deeper on the nine-episode docu-series about how they tackle the everyday struggles that come with balancing family and work, nurturing their marriage, building their individual careers.
We’re The Campbells airs Tuesday’s at 8/7C on TV One.
