Bruno Mars understands family is first.

The “Uptown Funk” singer let his fans know that he is in full support of Cardi B. pulling out of the singer’s “24K Magic” world tour, and there is no hard feelings.

Cardi made the announcement on social media Thursday, explaining that motherhood was more challenging than expected and that doctor’s have instructed her that it’s not safe to bring her infant daughter on the road.

“I thought after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally & physically. I also thought that Id be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated the whole mommy thing,” she wrote.

Now that the news is out, Bruno has followed up with a statement letting Cardi know that he’s on her side and agrees with the move she’s making.

“Most important thing is you and your family’s health. I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing,” he wrote. “I also know we’ll share the stage with the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor. Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on the 24K magic Tour.”

Cardi gave birth to daughter Kulture Kiari Cephas with husband Migos rapper Offset on Tuesday July 10.  No word on who Mars will get to fill her shoes and open up the fall leg of the tour which kicks off on September 7th in Denver.
