Some will see it as art, others will call it egregious — Either way, Kanye West urging Pusha T to use the Whitney Houston death scene photo as the cover art to his new album will get the people talking.
Once again, West has made a move that makes us say, ‘huh?’ In an attempt to — well we really don’t know what ‘Ye is up top these day — but for Pusha’s new album Daytona Mr. West told the MC that using Houston’s death scene photo for his cover (which shows various drug paraphernalia in Whitney’s hotel room the day she died), “is what people need to see to go along with this music.”
Tha album, which is Pusha’s first project in three years and is available now. If you can get past the cover, which Yeezy paid $85,000 to license, then you’ll be able to hear the first G.O.O.D Music project to come out of Kanye’s Wyoming compound.
