Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is finally opening up about his long public feud with his Fast and Furious co-star, Vin Diesel.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the Rampage star broke down exactly what led to their shocking beef that the world still can’t believe. “Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer,” he said.
“And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not,” The Rock explained.
Back in 2016, the two actors threw several shots at each other via social media. In one of the platform feuds, Johnson expressed his frustrations with some of his male co-stars in a lengthy IG post. Johnson never mentioned names, but it was confirmed that it’s Diesel who had been one of the “candy asses” on set.
It’s still unclear if The Rock will join the ninth Fast and Furious film, but he confirmed that he is currently focused on his spin-off movie, Hobbs and Shaw.
He did, however, wish Vin “all the best” and even confirmed that he harbors “no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have.”
