The long lost interview of O.J. Simpson hypothesizing about how he could have killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman is set to finally hit airwaves.
It’s been 12 years since Simpson sat across from Judith Regan and weirdly planned out what could have happened the night Brown and Goldman were murdered; the 1994 killings the former NFL player was acquitted of.
“For over a decade, the tapes of that infamous interview were lost — until now,” a press release from Fox reads. “Simpson’s explosive words finally will be heard, as he answers the questions that gripped a nation during the notorious ‘Trial of the Century’.”
First off, NOBODY LOSES O.J. TAPES … so we are calling BS on the lost tape excuse. But the real question is: Why now?
Not only has conversation surrounding one of the most polarizing trials been hot in Hollywood following the success of O.J.: Made in America and the FX miniseries The People vs. O.J. Simpson, but the 70-year-old was also just released from prison.
Fox will air O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession? on Sunday, March 11 … which is also the same date and time as the premier of the new American Idol reboot on ABC. Savage!
