The Christian Crossover: Snoop Dogg’s “Bible Of Love” Dominates The Gospel Charts

Praise God! Snoop Dogg has proven that Christ loves a good cross-over album.

The Doggfather dropped his album, “Bible of Love” last week and the spiritual project has landed at the top of the gospel charts. This is a first for the rapper who, of course, is no stranger to the top of the charts, but has never had a #1 on Billboard’s gospel list.

But, that’s not all. According to Billboard, “three tracks from Bible of Love appear on Hot Gospel Songs. ‘You,’ featuring Tribbett, starts at No. 20, followed by ‘Saved,’ featuring Faith Evans and 3rd Generation (new at No. 24), and ‘Blessing Me Again,’ featuring Rance Allen (a re-entry at No. 25). Another track from the set, ‘One More Day,’ featuring Wilson, spent a week at No. 17 on the March 10 chart.”

Shout out to all the critics who thought a gangsta rapper couldn’t do gospel. HA!
When we talked to Snoop he touched on the judgmental people who didn’t understand his purpose with “Bible of Love”. See the interview below…
