Another day, another missed child support payment. Stevie J. is now being asked to turn himself in to New York officials or else a warrant will be put out for his arrest for failure to pay child support.
The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star allegedly owes over $1.3 million in back payments and now the U.S. Attorney Southern District of New York has given Stevie until April 10 to surrender.
The reality star, however, is not backing down without a fight.
On Monday, Steven Aaron Jordan, the songwriter’s legal name, tweeted: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper. God prevails over all. If they don’t have a story now they’ll make one. All these handouts gettin outta hand.”
This is not the first time the father of six has been accused of failure to pay child support. If you recall, Stevie was arrested in 2014 after his ex, Carol Bennett, whom he has two kids with, filed a lawsuit against him for not coughing up money.
Stevie shares children with Bennett, Joseline Hernandez, Rhonda Henderson, Felecia Stover and Mimi Faust.
