A Georgia woman is accusing r&b crooner, Bobby Valentino, of rape and now HipHollywood can confirm that the singer is under investigation.
On Monday morning, a woman filed a police report in Cobb County, naming Valentino as the suspect of a sexual assault incident that occurred the night before. Details about the alleged rape are unclear, but according to TMZ, his camp plans on taking legal action.
Bobby’s reps claim that their legal actions will be “against what appears to be a weak yet calculated attempt to obtain financial gain through ulterior motives in the matter.”
This is not the first time the singer has made headlines for his “sexual” behavior.
Eight months ago, a woman named Reima Houston released a video that shows BV leaving her apartment after allegedly soliciting for sex. In the visual, you see the man covering his face while running out of the apartment. The gentleman in question also is not wearing any shoes or pants.
At the time, Houston claimed she exposed Bobby because he didn’t have the coins to pay her.
Valentino’s rep later released a statement that read: “Misrepresentation and deception were maliciously used to target Valentino; during the encounter, Valentino was victimized and threatened by act of extortion which continued after his departure was captured on video.”
Calls to Bobby’s team for further comment have not been returned.
