SZA has finally given the world what it’s been waiting on, a video for her highly anticipated track “The Weekend,” but instead of rejoicing, popping bottles and giving her a round of applause, she got bashed and trashed on Twitter.
But we kind of understand why. If you’re like us, you’ve been playing “The Weekend” and her album Ctrl in heavy rotation and have already concocted a whole video scenario in your head including, side chicks, main chicks, a hot bae and more.
But that’s not what we got. Instead, the Solange Knowles directed video features SZA body-rolling on the balcony of a skyscraper and dancing inside a parking garage. Huh?
