Jay Z got 99 problems and getting monitors ready for a show is certainly one.
The rapper canceled his Dec. 6 show in Nebraska over the weekend all because the venue could not handle his over the top production, specifically, his insane monitors.
Beyonce’s husband released a statement to his millions of fans confirming that “due to the scale of this production, we cannot get the screens up on time into the building in Nebraska.”
He explained that his 4:44 tour is “too important to me to do it halfway” and because of that, “I have to cancel the show.” The father of three concluded, “I respect you guys too much to take the money and run.”
The rapper also confirmed that the cancellation of his November 1 show in Fresno was also due to scale of production.
Jay’s next show is set for Monday night at the Barclay’s center.
