Gayle King and CBS This Morning co-host, Norah O’Donnell, are shocked and hurt by the latest string of Charlie Rose sexual misconduct allegations.

Eight women have come forward over the past several days, alleging that the CBS news anchor engaged in groping and or parading in front of them naked. Following the claims, Rose, most known of the face of CBS’s 60 Minutes, was suspended from the network and PBS.

While addressing the allegations on Tuesday during the morning news show, King suggested she is not “ok.” “Both my son an daughter called, Oprah called me and said ‘are you ok?’ I am not ok.”

King explained, “I’ve enjoyed a friendship and partnership with Charlie for the past 5 years; I’ve held him in such high regard because what do you say when someone that you deeply care about has done something that is so horrible. How do you wrap your head around that.”

“Charlie does not get a pass here, he does not get a pass from anyone in this room,” Gayle continued. “He doesn’t get a pass because I can’t stop thinking about anguish of these women. What happened to their dignity, what happened to their bodies, what happened to maybe their careers.”

She added, “I’m still trying to process this.”

CBS is currently investigating the allegations.
