DMX is making his way to the small screen.
According to Variety, the rapper signed a deal to star in a docu-series currently titled, In the Dog House.
The show will apparently follow the rapper’s personal life, specifically his recent release from drug rehab, working on his new album and his attempt to “repair his relationship with his 15 children and their mothers.”
“I’m just excited to get back out there and show my fans that I’m still a force to be reckoned with in hip hop, and invite them into my vast world of spirituality and growth,” DMX said.
Earlier this year, the rapper voluntarily checked himself into a rehab facility in Southern California, for substance abuse. It was later confirmed that the move was fully supported, and encouraged, by his manager and ex-wife.
Rehab, however, is just one of several personal woes for X over the past few years.
Back in 2015, X was found was found unconscious in the parking lot of a Ramada Inn in Yonkers New York. That same year, Earl Simmons, the rapper’s legal name, was sentenced to time behind bars for failure to pay as much as $400,000 in child support.
