R&B singers, actors and top models are joining reality TV left and right, so it shouldn’t be a shocker to hear that singing sensation Lil Mo is taking her talents to the Love & Hip Hop franchise.
Mo, real name Cynthia Karen Loving, made the official announcement on her Instagram page Tuesday night, letting fans know that she and her husband, boxer Karl Dagan, have signed on to the cast of Love & Hip Hop New York.
“If I can make it there. I’ll make it ANYWHERE!! #lhhny#20years #LILMO #iamLOVE #iamHIPHOP #iamNY born and raised. Moved to Texas. Atlanta. Fayetteville. Baltimore. Philly. Now it’s time to go back HOME. Get my crown. Take my belongings with me. Buckle up. You’re in for one helluva ride.”
The “Superwoman” songstress will be joining the likes of Remy Ma, Yandy Smith, Rich Dollaz, Juju and Safaree who will be moving from the Hollywood series back to his hometown of NYC.
Now we all know Mo can bring the drama, she was a fan favorite on her three seasons of R&B Divas: Los Angeles, but what does seem surprising is that she opted to join a show about “love and hip hop.”
Apparently she’ll be working on her sixth solo album and dealing with those pesky cheating rumors floating around about her gold-medal winning hubby. So, who knows, this could end up helping her career. We see what the franchise has done for Cardi B. and K. Michelle. Hence why fellow R&B singers Keyshia Cole, Brooke Valentine and Bridget Kelly have all joined Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.
In the meantime, season eight of the LHHNY is slated to premiere on Monday, October 30 on Vh1.
