Matt Damon Spills The Beans That Trump Was Desperate To Be In Movies

It’s no secret that Donald Trump loves to be in front of the camera with all eyes on him, in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Matt Damon broke down how Donald Trump ended up with a cameo role in Home Alone 2.

“The deal was that if you wanted to shoot in one of his buildings, you had to write him in a part. [Director] Martin Brest had to write something in Scent of a Woman — and the whole crew was in on it. You have to waste an hour of your day with a bullshit shot: Donald Trump walks in and Al Pacino’s like, “Hello, Mr. Trump!” — you had to call him by name — and then he exits. You waste a little time so that you can get the permit, and then you can cut the scene out. But I guess in Home Alone 2 they left it in.”

WHAAAATTT? Forgive us for laughing, but that is as pathetic as it gets for the camera hungry crowd. Makes us wonder how many other cameos of his were gotten this way.

In 1994 he appeared on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the episode didnt take place in a Trump hotel, but perhaps there were other “perks” exchanged. The episode also featured then wife, Marla Maples.

Trump even won a Razzie for worst supporting actor performance when playing himself in the fantasy film “Ghosts Don’t Do it”.

Some kind soul was nice enough to put together every cameo the Donald ever did, and although he is playing himself, its still incredibly unbeliebable and painful to watch. Enjoy, and a big Thank You to Matt Damon for sharing this shade with all of us.
