Justin Bieber announced back in July that he was canceling the remainder of his tour due to “unforseen circumstances.” But it turns out, there’s more to the story.
Fans have been speculating exactly why the pop star called it quits on the final leg of his trek — one rumor was his spiritual journey did not align with his tour lifestyle.
One source even told Variety, “It wasn’t a decision made overnight. He’s had some time off and was able to consider his commitments.” Another insider told TMZ that the Biebs was just “over it.”
According to Bieber’s manager, however, claims the singer does in fact have a story to tell. Appearing on CBS This Morning Thursday, Scooter Braun said “I think he’ll decide to tell people when he’s ready of what exactly happened.”
He explained to host Gayle King, “But I think he was making a decision, like he said, to protect himself.”
Braun added, “But he’s 23 years old now, and if he makes a decision as a man, as long as he’s willing to listen to opinions and hear people out — if he has true conviction, I’m willing to have his back.”
From a string of emotional on stage breakdowns to accidentally running over a paparazzo, the singer has spent the past year making headlines across multiple platforms. Has it all become too much for the star?
