Porn Ratings Take Major Nosedive Night Of Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor Fight
More people preferred to watch the epic Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor fight than porn; at least according to famous pornographic video sharing website, Pornhub.
Per PH, the night that Mayweather took his winning streak to a sweet 50-0, porn took a huge dip worldwide. On Saturday night, the website’s viewership plummeted 21% in the U.S and 11% in Ireland.
The good news is, when the fight came to a less than shocking end, folks scurried back to their computers for their personal pleasure. Pornhub reports the U.S viewership jumped back up between midnight and 1 a.m, peaking to their normal ratings by 2 a.m.
In Ireland, the traffic jumped back up a cool 174%. Clearly folks from McGregor’s home island needed to release some aggression after their UFC champion lost one of the biggest fights of the year.
Meanwhile, Floyd channeled the same energy for his big win. Following the Vegas fight, he hit up his strip club Girl Collection and reportedly dropped thousands of dollars.
