Alexis Ohanian is speaking out about starting a family with his fiancée, Serena Williams.
During a recent appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box, the Reddit co-founder raved about his wife-to-be and opened up about expecting their first child together. “She’s awesome at a lot of things, and she’s well on her way to being an awesome mom,” Ohanian said.
The entertainment mogul then suggested that he will also take leave after Williams gives birth to their bundle of joy, “At Reddit, it’s really important for us to support men and women when they are welcoming a new member to the family,” he said.
Alexis added, “And so we have a pretty generous parental leave policy. I’ll be taking off for six weeks myself and trying to do the best job possible as a first-time dad.”
Ohanian, who proposed to Williams on December 10, 2016, also opened up in the latest cover story for Vanity Fair about falling in love with the tennis professional.
“I felt like a door had been opened to a person who made me want to be my best self,” he said about their fast tracked romance. “I find myself just wanting to be better by simply being around her because of the standard she holds.”
