Is the drama and pain all done for Mary J. Blige?
Hopefully there will be no more tears for the singer because the New York native has officially been ordered to pay her estranged husband way less than requested.
On Thursday, a judge ordered Blige to shell out a cool $30,000.00 per month to Martin “Kendu” Isaacs in temporary spousal support. The number, however, is relatively low compared to the $129,319.00 he initially asked for.
According to reports, the large sum was based off of the lavish lifestyle Issacs had while married to Blige.
The singer will also open her pocketbook for retroactive spousal support back to September and his attorney fees – that alone is $235k.
And while Blige might not be shedding tears today, their financial woes aren’t exactly over. The two still apparently owe millions of dollars in back taxes.
Mary filed for divorce back in July 2016 and cited “irreconcilable differences.” Blige and Isaacs, who has been her longtime manager, tied the knot in 2003. We are sure Mary is going to be just fine (pun intended).
