Karrueche Tran’s temporary restraining order against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown just became permanent.
On Thursday morning, a judge granted Tran a permanent restraining order against Breezy and now, Chris can’t go anywhere near the actress for the next five years.
According to reports, the decision was made following Tran’s testimony in court. Per TMZ, the actress recalled to the judge Brown’s demanding messages requesting she return the “diamond rings” he purchased for her.
When she opted out of not giving back the jewelery, that’s when she claims the singer became aggressive.
According to Tran, the 28-year-old also threatened to shut her out of Hollywood and ban her from events. One text message allegedly read: “I can get my money back and I’m tired of playing games.” Another read: “Bitch I will beat the s**t out of you” and “I promise you I will make your life hell.”
The judges order comes nearly four months after Tran initially filed for a temporary order in Los Angeles. On February 17, 2017, Karrueche filed documents and suggested that during her relationship with Chris, he punched her and at one point, and pushed her down a flight of stairs.
Entertainment attorney Mitra Ahouraian tells HipHollywood that the “purpose of the temporary restraining order was to keep the claimant safe in the meantime, until the court could hear all the facts and evidence.”
Brown, who was in an on-again/off-again romance with Tran for years prior to their 2014 split, has not responded.
