Ariana Grande has enlisted a major group of performers to take part in the Manchester benefit concert set for June 4th.
One Love Manchester will be held at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground and will feature performances by Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Usher and Niall Horan.
Grande confirmed the date of the concert on Tuesday morning, just days after announcing her plans to host a concert to raise money for the victims and their families affected by the Manchester attack.
In an essay shared before the holiday weekend, the singer explained, “My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones. There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better.”
She wrote, “However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way. The only thing we can do now is choose how we let this affect us and how we live our lives from here on out.”
Grande added that she will be “returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honor or the victims and their families.”
Grande had just wrapped her show at the Manchester Arena on May 22 when a bomb went off in the foyer of the venue. The terror attack killed 22 and wounded 59 others.
