HipHollywood was backstage following the 2017 Grammy Awards when Adele stepped into the press room and continued to rave about her love for Beyonce.
While addressing reporters, the singer suggested she’s been stanning for the singer since age 11. “I was with some girlfriends and we were practicing a song for an assembly … they’re like have you heard “No, No, No.” I remember so clearly how I felt hearing her voice.”
“I fell in love immediately with her,” the 28-year-old said. “The way that I felt when I heard no no no was exactly how I felt when I heard Lemonade.”
Adele also hilariously suggested that she can’t take “any f*cking sh*t when it comes to anybody not liking Beyonce. You can’t be in my life.”
Earlier in the night, while accepting the award for Album of the Year, the British singer practically gave away the covered trophy to the pregnant star. “The way that you make me and my friends feel — and the way that you make my black friends feel — is empowering. You make them stand up for themselves and I love you, and I always have and I always will.”
HipHollywood also captured Solange backstage after picking up her first Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance for “Cranes In The Sky.” But instead of praising Beyonce during her press room chat, the singer raved about their mother, Tina Knowles.
When awkwardly being asked about receiving the same amount of attention by Knowles as her famous older sister, Solange responded: “I think that her love and support for both of us has been a beautiful love story and we continue to honor.”
She added, “She has shown us by example of womanhood and womanism and it feels like such a joy to have had her be part of the album.”
