When Kerry Washington makes an appearance, the entire world comes to a slow and steady pause … because it’s rare when the beauty shows her face.
A glowing Washington stepped out with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha on Thursday night in a rare appearance in Los Angeles. The Scandal star and her ex-NFL boo attended Ambassadors for Humanity Gala Benefiting USC Shoah Foundation in Hollywood, California.
The couple’s date night marked their first public appearance since welcoming their now 2-month-old baby boy, Caleb. Washington stunned in a sexy, low-cut, floral print Phillipp Plein dress paired with black scrappy heels. Washington also rocked her hair in a sexy ponytail.
During the event, the mother of two honored Star Wars creator George Lucas and his wife, businesswoman Melody Hobson.
Washington, who is known to be very private about her personal life, shared a snapshot on Instagram of herself honoring the couple, writing: “Using empathy to end hate. Such an important cause! Now more than ever.”
Nnamdi and Kerry welcomed Caleb October 5th and, of course, we have not seen photos of the little guy, but then again, we haven’t seen images of the pair’s 2-year-old daughter Isabelle either.
“If I don’t talk about my personal life, it means I don’t talk about my personal life,” Washington told E! News at the 2016 SXSW New Rules of Social Stardom panel back in March.
She also seemingly shut down divorce rumors that are constantly plaguing her and Asomugha. “That means not only did I not tell you when I was getting married, it also means if somebody has rumors about what’s going on in my marriage, I don’t refute them, because I don’t talk about my personal life.”
Kerry and the former Raiders player wed in secret in 2013.
